Responsibilities

→Verifies Preventative Maintenance work orders are properly matched to the equipment in the area.
→Follow through for accurate Countermeasures on Major Breakdown Reports
→Ensures adequate spare parts are available
→Manages any ongoing projects in the department
→Interacts with Vendors and Contractors for related work in the Department
→Understanding and implementation of a safe work environment
→Schedules shutdown work with Planners
→Assists with creation of One Point Lessons and Standard Operating Procedures for tasks necessary for more efficient repair and troubleshooting
→Ensures that department is kept in a clean 5s standard
→Works closely with Maintenance Supervisor on communicating work load and recommended improvements
→Requires On Call availability

Technical/analytic skills
Effective written/oral communication
Good working knowledge of computer applications

High School Diploma
5-8 years related experience including good working knowledge of PLC’s, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
Must have had an effective background in environmental safety and supervision
