Performance Quality Engineer (Senior Analyst)

We are seeking an experienced Performance Quality Engineer to ensure our platform continues to deliver exceptional performance, scalability and resilience as client volumes grow.

  Performance testing and engineering activities across applications, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.

• →

  Design and execute load, stress, endurance and scalability testing.

• →

  Identify performance bottlenecks and drive optimisation initiatives.

• →

  Define performance benchmarks, KPIs and service level objectives.

• →

  Partner with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps and Product teams to improve platform reliability and client experience.

• →

  Support capacity planning, production readiness and observability initiatives.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent 3 to 5 years of practical experience.

• Significant experience in performance engineering, non-functional testing or platform scalability testing.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures and microservices.

• Experience analysing application, database and infrastructure performance.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Experience with several of the following technologies:

• JMeter, k6, Gatling, LoadRunner or Azure Load Testing

• Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Dynatrace, Grafana or Splunk

• Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes and Docker

• REST APIs, Postman and microservices architectures

• SQL Server, Azure SQL and query optimisation

• Java, Python, PowerShell or JavaScript/TypeScript
