Maintenance Technician

Large commercial real estate company seeks a hands-on property maintenance person to handle upkeep, repairs and maintenance of an assigned portfolio of shopping centers and office buildings. Duties include:

• 
  Inspect and evaluate overall condition and appearance of interior and exterior of buildings, roof, grounds, parking lot, HVAC, sprinkler system, emergency lighting and other areas.
• 
  Prepare and follow weekly schedule of routine maintenance matters and supplement schedule as needed with emergency matters.
• 
  Respond to tenant requests in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
• 
  Troubleshoot problems and personally make repairs where possible.
• 
  For repairs where vendor is used, assist vendor in gaining access as needed
• 
  Must have own small tools and transportation.
• 
  Experience with commercial buildings, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and asphalt repairs greatly preferred.
