About the Role

~1 min read- Assist with managing projects following project processes and where applicable provide direction to assisting Project Engineers.
- Assist with completing projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Help with the overall financial performance of assigned projects including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects.
- Assist with managing the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope.
- Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues.
- Help manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any issues.
- Track material deliveries and support project logistics.
- Process and manage RMAs (Return Material Authorizations).
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities for the branch.
- Maintain project records, closeout documentation, and compliance files.
- Assist with vendor, subcontractor, and customer communications.
- Support branch operations through process improvement and administrative coordination.
Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC, Construction or Building Automation and Controls
- 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Clean and valid driver’s license
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in building HVAC with a focus on building automation controls (3- or 4-year program)
- Ability to lead and motivate teams
- Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills
- Ability to read and understand scope of work
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting
- Previous field experience with commissioning of DDC Systems and/or hands-on experience in the field of deploying or commissions
- Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred
- Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines
