The Maintenance Mechanic maintains operating condition of equipment and buildings and completes simple repairs. In this role, you will perform inspection, preventive maintenance, service and repair of equipment, building and central energy plant systems, utilizing your knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry or plumbing. This opportunity will provide you with the ability to learn, enhance your skills and grow within Cleveland Clinic. Requirements

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
Ability to move/transport items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)
Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)
Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)
Ability to inspect equipment
Ability to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structures
Ability to climb ladders.
May be exposed to communicable diseases.
