Nursing Operations Manager

Indian River Hospital is looking to add a Nursing Operations Manager to the team, who will serve as the responsible agent for any circumstances requiring immediate response, resolution or referral. We’re looking for nurse leaders who are the definition of excellence in patient care, who are compassionate human beings always striving to lead, learn and grow and who treat each other and their patients like family. This can be an intense role, requiring strong multitasking and prioritization skills. Through constant patient monitoring, you will directly impact the life of the patient. • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
• Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
