Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all aspects of warehouse operations for a growing organization serving the construction and building products industry. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact operation, lead a dedicated team, and drive process improvements that directly support project success and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values operational excellence, and is passionate about developing people while building efficient, safe, and scalable warehouse operations.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, product staging, shipping, and material handling.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate material flow to support project schedules, customer deliveries, and installation timelines.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage methods, and operational workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage warehouse staffing, scheduling, equipment, and operational resources.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse team members while maintaining high performance standards.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and oversee receiving, deliveries, and product availability.
  • Coordinate logistics with drivers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely movement of materials.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs, inventory accuracy, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Oversee equipment inspections, maintenance, and warehouse safety initiatives.
  • Partner with operations, purchasing, production, project management, and installation teams to resolve challenges and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, or fulfillment experience.
  • 2+ years of warehouse leadership or management experience.
  • Proven success leading, coaching, and developing warehouse teams.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS); Odoo experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with RF scanners and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics.
  • Experience within cabinetry, millwork, woodworking, construction materials, building products, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and move throughout a warehouse for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
  • Ability to safely inspect equipment, operate warehouse equipment as needed, and perform computer-based administrative work.
