Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Association Management Intern to join our team. In this role, you will get hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of non-profit management. You will work directly with our Association Managers and operational teams to support the day-to-day administrative, reporting, and event-planning needs of our diverse portfolio of non-profit clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to build a career in non-profit management, event planning, communications, marketing, or business administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Database Management: Accurately update and maintain member records across various association CRM platforms to ensure data integrity.
- Reporting & Analytics: Assist in pulling, formatting, and distributing weekly or monthly reports related to membership growth, event registration, and financial tracking.
- Event Support: Provide logistical support for upcoming client conferences, board meetings, and regional events. Tasks may include managing registration lists, preparing name badges, producing event deliverables, organizing event shipments, and answering attendee questions.
- General Office & Administrative Support: Assist with routine office tasks, including monitoring client email inboxes, responding to basic member inquiries, organizing digital files, and routing complex issues to the appropriate team members.
- Non-Profit Operations: Support the core operational functions of our non-profit clients through ad-hoc research, committee support, and basic administrative tasks assigned by the management team.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university (Business, Non-Profit Management, Communications, Hospitality/Event Planning, or related fields preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and incredible attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word); comfortable learning new software and CRM databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a genuine interest in learning how non-profit organizations operate.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
