  • Application Development: Design and implement C/C++ and Python system applications, background services, and IPC mechanisms running on top of the custom Linux stack.
  • BSP & Hardware Bring-Up: Partner with external BSP vendors and internal EE hardware teams to configure board support packages, device trees, drivers, and peripheral interfaces (PCIe, CAN, USB, Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth).
  • System Integration & Optimization: Drive kernel tuning, boot-time optimization, resource management, and hardware acceleration leveraging the i.MX 95 (e.g., NPU, GPU, image processing pipeline).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the firmware expert interfacing with Systems, Hardware, Quality, and Product Management to translate system requirements into reliable software designs.

MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering or

related field. Graduate degree preferred.

  • Embedded GUIs & Signal Processing: Experience with embedded GUI frameworks (Qt, LVGL) or integrating digital signal processing (DSP)/data pipelines is a strong plus.
  • Core Languages: Proficient in C, C++, and Python for system-level programming and script automation.
  • Experience with designing and implementing sensor-based systems preferred
  • Prefer experience reading hardware schematics and working close to hardware; familiarity with PCB design or signal routing is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and collaborative
  • Regulated Industry Experience: Prior background in MedTech/medical devices or safety-critical systems subject to strict quality and regulatory standards is highly desirable.
