• 1 year of parking or transportation experience 

• Commercial driver's license

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record

• Ability to apply sound judgment and confidentiality in handling patient health information
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to function independently without constant supervision
• Organization and time management skills
• Strong human relations and teamwork skills

• Ability to drive safely and following procedures and protocols
• Ability to drive and operate Children’s vehicles

• →Responsible for operating and driving Children’s vehicles throughout the organization’s premises as needed and to specified locations.
• →Facilitate the pick-up and delivery of medical specimens, documents, and supplies among healthcare facilities, laboratories, and designated locations.
• →Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• →Handle and transport medical specimens with precision, strictly following safety and storage protocols.
• →Maintain detailed records of deliveries and pickups, noting any issues or discrepancies.
• →Foster clear and professional communication with laboratory staff, team members, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• →Conduct routine vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary supplies.
• →Comply with all laboratory policies and procedures concerning specimen transport.
