At Climavision, we’re rebuilding climate technology from the ground up and changing the way we see weather. We merge the power of a proprietary, high-resolution weather radar and satellite networks with advanced weather prediction modeling and decades of industry expertise to reduce existing data gaps and drastically improve forecasting ability. Our revolutionary new approach to climate technology weather solutions is poised to help reduce the economic risks of climate change on companies, governments, and societies alike. We are backed by The Rise Fund, the world’s largest global impact platform committed to achieving measurable, positive social and environmental outcomes alongside competitive financial returns. Climavision is headquartered in Louisville, KY, with research and development operations in Raleigh, NC.
As Climavision's radar fleet keeps growing, so does the work of keeping it healthy. We are hiring our first dedicated Radar Fleet Operations Specialist to support our Sr. Radar Ops Manager and the broader technical team in keeping the fleet running. You'll be the first line of defense: working through documented procedures to monitor and troubleshoot routine issues, and escalating to our SRE and DevOps teams when something falls outside those procedures to keep our uptime high and our SLAs met as the fleet keeps expanding.
If you've built a track record troubleshooting complex electronics, whether through the military, commercial field service, or a technical support environment, this role is built for you. You'll get up to speed on weather-radar specifics through hands-on training with our in-house radar experts, working alongside our Senior Radar Ops Manager and technical team rather than carrying the fleet alone. With 32 radars in the fleet today and more coming online, there's plenty to learn and contribute to from day one.
