An Update About Our Organization

There has never been a more exciting time to grow with CLV Group!

With the July 2026 acquisition of InterRent, we have strengthened our national presence and united two established organizations with a shared commitment to our people, our residents, and the greater communities we serve. Together, we are building something truly remarkable.

About us

For more than 50 years, CLV Group has specialized in building vibrant communities that our residents across Canada are proud to call home. Our standard of excellence is no accident – it’s driven entirely by our amazing people.

Our Operations teams are at the heart of what we do, creating exceptional resident experiences and ensuring our communities are safe, welcoming, and well cared for every day. We're looking for people who take pride in their work and care about making a real difference in their community.

We are currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team and support day-to-day operations of residential communications across Ottawa, including downtown, Vanier, and the west end. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our communities safe, attractive, and operating at their best. Through timely maintenance, repairs, and resident support, you will help deliver a positive living experience for residents while fostering welcoming and well-maintained communities.

  • Assist with seasonal property operations, including snow removal.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff, management, and external vendors as required.
  • Adhere to all workplace health & safety policies and report safety hazards to management.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge and professional experience in a wide variety of residential maintenance and light renovation tasks.
  • General understanding of residential building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and heating systems.
  • Experience in performing basic appliance and fixture repairs is considered a strong asset.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Our Team + What you can Expect

  • Must have valid, class G driver’s license, access to personal vehicle, and clean drivers abstract.
  • Must have tools necessary to complete basic maintenance tasks. Any specialty tools required will be provided by the employer.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies during regular operating hours.
  • Participation in an after-hours rotational response team may be required.

Compensation

  • The expected hourly rate for this position is $23.00–$25.00 per hour, with final compensation based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and other job-related qualifications. We encourage candidates at all stages of their careers to apply.
  • All employees are eligible for comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for themselves and their dependents, with 100% of benefit premiums covered by CLV Group.
  • Employees receive three weeks of paid vacation annually, accruing from their first day of employment, to support time away to rest and recharge.
