To strengthen our vibrant Operations Team, we are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced and dynamic Ammonia Operations Manager – Asia Pacific.
Responsibilities
~1 min readShipping & Chartering Operations

Understand chartering market dynamics and support the closing of chartering deals, without holding sole responsibility for deal closure.

Liaise with charterers, brokers, agents and technical managers to ensure smooth voyage execution.

Oversee loading, discharging and ammonia bunkering/cargo operations in line with contractual and safety requirements.
Far East Market & Investment Liaison

Act as the primary communicator and link between CMB.TECH and its partners and investments in the Far East.

Support coordination on ammonia bunkering, trading and operational matters with Far East counterparties.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with Far East counterparties, ensuring clear and timely communication.

Prepare regular trading and operational performance reports for the COO, CCO and CEO.
Formal education: Business Administration, Economics, Trade or a related field; a Maritime or Chemical background is a plus;
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in ammonia shipping/chartering operations;
Languages: fluent in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written), required to act as the communication link with our Far East partners and investments;
Good understanding of ammonia shipping and chartering markets, with strong commercial and market sense;
Ability to support and coordinate chartering deals, working closely with trading and operations counterparts;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge cultural and organisational differences;
Self-starter and team player, comfortable operating in an international environment;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
