Warehouse Operations Associate / Driver

We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate / Driver to support day-to-day warehouse activities while also transporting products, materials, or equipment between locations. You will be the first hire in our newly launched warehouse!!

Typical responsibilities include:

• Receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and loading inventory.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, as applicable.
• Maintaining accurate inventory and shipment records.
• Preparing orders and deliveries for customers or other company locations.
• Driving company vehicles to make deliveries, pickups, or transfers safely and on schedule.
• Loading and unloading materials while ensuring products are handled properly.
• Keeping the warehouse, vehicles, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.

This is an onsite position in Riverside, MO. Initial training will require you to be onsite for 3 weeks in Carol Stream, IL (company will provide all expenses including lodging). You will be expected to be in Carol Stream, IL one week/month for the initial year of hire.

Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour plus annual bonus

Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.

Responsibilities: 

• Be the first hire in our new warehouse facility. Wear multiple hats including driver and warehouse associate. Opportunity to move into management once your warehouse is operating with excellence
• Work 1 week/month in Carol Stream, IL the first 6 months of hire, for ongoing training
• Pull materials and organize them for shipping
• Receive materials and scan them into the system
• Count and properly review Bill of Material and packing slips
• Review Project Material list and pull those materials for the construction crews
• Receive excess materials and restock on shelves
• Label materials based on project
• Use company equipment to move materials (forklift, lifts, rolls, pallet jacks, etc)
• Maintain outdoor areas and indoor warehouse; ensure property is clean and organized

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Class C driver license. Driving materials to/from work sites is 25% of this position. You may need to drive up to 6 hours on occasion
• Experienced driving a forklift and packaging items on pallets
• Experience driving a box truck 26’, pick up truck, and flat trailer
• Ideal candidate has experience receiving inventory, staging and labeling inventory using scanners, packaging client materials with consumables and preparing for construction crews
• Skilled using simple power tools like drills
• Strong Excel skills for tracking inventory
• Experience using WORD to print labels
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Able to load materials and securely fasten and rig loads to trailers
• Able to work overtime and long hours
