POSITION SUMMARY

Constellis is seeking a technically capable, intellectually curious, and highly self-directed Physical Security Technology Specialist (PSTS) to support and advance a large-scale physical security technology environment across a premier client portfolio in San Diego (La Jolla).

This is not an entry-level technology role, a maintenance-only position, or a conventional security-management assignment. It is an opportunity for the successful candidate to help design, build, implement, and continuously improve the next generation of physical security technology within a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. New ideas are encouraged.  The successful candidate will inherit important systems, active projects, and an extensive existing technology ecosystem; however, they will not inherit a finished blueprint. The opportunity is to help define that blueprint. Working alongside Security Leadership, IT, Cybersecurity, Operations, and external technology partners, the PSTS will evaluate existing systems, identify opportunities for enhancement, test emerging technologies, challenge assumptions, and drive well-supported solutions from concept through implementation. (Budgets and final decisions rest with the client.)

This position is intended for someone who enjoys building, not merely administering. The ideal candidate is comfortable receiving a defined objective and independently determining the stakeholders, technical requirements, dependencies, risks, implementation strategy, and path to execution.

COMPENSATION

$110,000 to $140,000 annual base salary (plus bonuses), based on relevant experience, technical
