About us:

Cresset provides solutions for chemists in world-leading research organisations to discover, design, optimise, synthesise and track the best small molecules. We help them reach better design and synthesis decisions, faster and more efficiently, enabling them to win the race to success in industries including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, flavours and fragrances.

We are looking for a Campaign & Events Manager to plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, webinars and events. You will use data and insight to improve engagement, generate leads and support Cresset’s commercial goals.

You’ll love this role if you are:

  • A thoughtful and reliable colleague who communicates clearly and follows through on commitments.
  • A highly organised marketer who aims for excellent results and pays close attention to detail.
  • A collaborative communicator who enjoys working with scientific, sales, product and distributor teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across email, events, webinars, social media, websites and partner channels.
  • Manage global conferences, exhibitions, workshops, customer events and webinars from planning through to evaluation.
  • Coordinate venues, suppliers, contractors, registrations, budgets, shipping, promotional activity and event materials.
  • Work with application scientists and other colleagues to develop clear and engaging scientific content.
  • Host webinars and brief presenters, sales colleagues and company representatives.
  • Support product launches, demand generation activity and commercial priorities.
  • Track registrations, attendance, engagement, marketing-qualified leads, opportunities and pipeline impact.
  • Maintain accurate campaign and event records in HubSpot and related systems.
  • Produce dashboards and reports covering campaign performance, lead conversion and return on investment.
  • Use performance data to recommend improvements to future campaigns and events.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends and relevant event opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least five years’ practical marketing experience.
  • Proven experience delivering B2B campaigns, webinars and events across different formats.
  • Strong event planning, budgeting, supplier management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Experience measuring lead generation, campaign performance and marketing return on investment.
  • Experience using a CRM or marketing automation platform, ideally HubSpot.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage several projects and deadlines independently.
  • A degree in marketing, event management or a related subject is desirable.
  • Experience in life sciences, chemistry, software or drug discovery would be helpful.

Some of our benefits:

  • Hybrid working for most roles
  • Modern rural offices, with a free shuttle to and from Royston station (twice weekly)
  • Electric car salary sacrifice scheme and on-site charging
  • Free parking, covered cycle storage, cycle-to-work scheme and showers
  • Private health insurance with Vitality
  • Free on-site lunches (twice weekly)
  • Two paid volunteering days each year
  • Annual discretionary bonus scheme
  • Life assurance
  • Lifestyle rewards and social activities
  • Employee Assistance Programme

One more thing…

We are committed to building an inclusive and collaborative culture, aligned to our values.

Applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences are welcomed. If you meet most - but not all - of the requirements, we still encourage you to apply, as you may be the right fit for this role.

We are proud to be accredited by the Good Business Charter. What this means for our employees is that we are committed to ensuring a real living wage, fairer hours and contracts, employee well-being, employee representation and diversity and inclusion.
