Bilingual Operations Manager

• →Complete Verbal Verification of Employment on assigned loans within 10 days of closing.
• →Ordering third party verifications such as appraisals, condo certs, title documents, flood certs, etc.
• →Review obtained loan packages for signatures, dates, notary stamps, etc. prior to giving funding authority.
• →Partner with Loan Officer Assistant in retrieving, obtaining signatures and overnighting CEMA and CO-OP documents.
• →Oversee pipeline management to ensure files are accurately and efficiently processed within organizational deadlines.
• →Complete basic review of loan files to ensure necessary documentation and data fields in loan origination/processing system are complete and accurate.
• →Assist in reconciling final ALTA statements.
• →Process file once locked, submit to Underwriting for conditions and direct Loan Officer Assistants to properly order appropriate services for files.
• →Provide Branch Manager with regular updates and reporting on branch pipeline status.
• →Complete post consummation closing disclosures and issue refund checks.
• →Act as the liaison between the branch and corporate underwriting operations.
• →Work on special projects as necessary.
• →Work effectively and efficiently with operations managers, team leads, processors, underwriters, closers, and post-closers.

• Fluency in the languages of Spanish and English in order to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, of whom may speak only English or Spanish.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years’ mortgage or lending experience in the capacity of an Underwriter, Processor or Originator.
• Operations management experience, preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory rules, laws, regulations, underwriting guidelines and statutes relevant to the mortgage industry.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ellie Mae Encompass experience, preferred.
