As an Analyst – Sales Operations, you will be responsible for managing large sales and performance datasets specific to Sourcing, Catalog, Supplier, Inventory and Project Management. You will be responsible for providing analytical support to sales leaders throughout the assigned Business Unit(s).

Responsibilities

  • Support APAC profitability governance by tracking margin performance, identifying exceptions, and highlighting risks that require action by Inside Sales Leaders and Reps;
  • Review margin risks post-billing and flag issues for follow-up and corrective action;
  • Provide analytical support for P3 across APAC CSS, including data validation, issue tracking, and profitability insights;
  • Strengthen data quality, reporting accuracy, and tracking discipline across profitability (P3+) and pipeline-related (Unified Sales Desk – USD) dashboards and review;
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on margin leakage, low-margin trends, backlog health, aging, and related commercial risks;Compile and analyze data on historical sales and trends to forecast future trends.
  • Assist in developing sophisticated solutions, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and tools to achieve and support the business goals.
  • Collaborate on identified ad hoc business problem-solving requests.
  • Support root-cause analysis across Sales, Operations, Inventory, and other support functions to help address structural issues impacting profitability

Requirements

  • Associates’ Degree required; Bachelors’ Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of B2B Supply Chain, including Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), Electrical, Inventory, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Pricing, etc.
  • Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to visualize data to tell a story that allows the end user to make informed decisions and take actions.
  • 4+ years of related experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify potential problems and propose possible solutions
  • Understanding of latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize tools and processes preferred
  • Ability to travel 0% - 25%
