An earned Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration with a concentration in Operations or Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited doctoral institution at the time of appointment.

  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, as evidenced by strong teaching evaluations by students and a strong record of engaging students across instructional modalities, including in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
  • Experience developing and teaching courses in the supply chain management area, including but not limited to:
    • Procurement and Strategic Sourcing
    • Production Planning and Control
    • Supply Chain Analytics
    • Logistics and Transportation Management
    • Distribution and Order Fulfillment
    • Global Supply Chain Management
    • Digital Supply Chains
    • Sustainable Supply Chain Management
  • Demonstrated success in curriculum innovation, instructional design, or program development that enhances student learning outcomes and career readiness.
  • Experience developing innovative curricula aligned with evolving industry needs.
  • Evidence of an active research agenda with demonstrated potential to publish in respected, peer-reviewed operations management and/or supply chain management journals.
  • Expertise or interests in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Risk and Resilience, or Sustainability.
  • Relevant industry or professional experience is desirable.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering student success in a diverse learning environment and supporting students from a wide range of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

The CSU is a state entity whose business operations reside within the State of California. The CSU prohibits hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California.

Commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The anticipated hiring range is $10,400-$11,264 per month (12 monthly payments per academic year).  As a member of the 23-campus CSU System, we offer an extremely competitive benefits package.

The Department of Management, Operations, and Marketing offers concentrations in Management (Human Resources, International Business, and Strategy/Entrepreneurship tracks), Operations Management, and Marketing. The department is part of the College of Business Administration, an AACSB-accredited program. The College also offers a Master of Business Administration degree, an Executive Master of Business Administration degree and an Online Master of Business degree.

For faculty already in the United States who hold a valid nonimmigrant visa (such as F-1, J-1, or O-1), Stanislaus State is able to consider filing a petition to change their status to H-1B based on the current determination that the fee does not apply.
