Job Description:

Daniels Health is a well-established company, whose vision is to "Make Healthcare Safer" through the reduction of needle-stick injuries and cross-contamination throughout healthcare facilities.

We're actively seeking a reliable, full-time Driver to work on a 3-month contract.

What we offer:

Competitive hourly rate of pay offered.

Responsible for transporting medical waste from Winnipeg to Shakopee, MN

Competently performs pre-trips inspections with the intent of identifying and communicating minor and major defects to the Transportation Supervisor, and also completed daily driver log book using HOS application on mobile phone.

Ensuring materials are properly packaged, and are in accordance with the packaging slip prior to trip .

Accurately records information on packaging slip and manifest, ensuring compliance with TDO Regulations.

Complies with all environmental & health and safety policies and procedures.

3 years long haul driving experience

Must have Class 1 licence with air

Must have F.A.S.T Card to bring medical waste to US

Must be available to drive from Winnipeg to Shakopee, MN.

Must have CVOR and Driver's Abstract (dated within last 30 days)

Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, such as reference check, background check, pre-employment medical test and driver's road test or equivalent.

Ability and knowledge to safely load and properly block, brace and secure materials.

Ability to drive the vehicle safely in accordance with all traffic regulations
