Delivery Manager

We deliver tailored solutions in business intelligence, data warehousing, data strategy, and project delivery for clients across the United States and beyond. Our consultants work remotely as one team, with a collaborative, inclusive, and delivery-focused culture. 

We are hiring a mid-level Delivery Manager to own day-to-day delivery of client engagements from kickoff through close. This is a hands-on delivery role. You will typically run two to four concurrent projects — scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client communication — and keep internal teams and client stakeholders aligned. 

This is not a practice-lead, people-manager, or sales role. You will flag staffing needs and expansion opportunities, follow established delivery standards, and escalate early. The right profile has about five to eight years of experience, including real time as a delivery or project manager on consulting or professional-services engagements. 

Delivery management

  Own end-to-end delivery of assigned client engagements, including timelines, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations. Typical load is two to four concurrent projects.

  Lead project planning, estimation, and scoping in partnership with Sales, Implementation, and Professional Services. 

• →

  Coordinate and prioritize work across internal and client teams so delivery stays on time and on quality.

  Coordinate staffing for assigned accounts with the practice lead; raise capacity and utilization issues early rather than owning practice-wide resource planning.

  Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes; escalate clearly and early.

  Run delivery governance for assigned work: status reporting, steering updates, sprint and milestone reviews, and stakeholder communication.

  Create and maintain project documentation including roadmaps, project plans, RAID logs, and resource plans.

  Keep repositories for deliverables, budgets, and project documentation current; track financial performance of assigned projects against forecast.

  Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients and protect satisfaction through the life of the engagement.

  Surface expansion and follow-on opportunities to Sales and account leadership. You do not own a sales quota or book of business.

  Follow firm delivery processes, standards, and templates, and suggest practical improvements from the work. 

Requirements and stakeholder management

  Partner with clients to understand business challenges and turn them into clear, deliverable requirements.

  Facilitate requirements and planning sessions, and make sure acceptance criteria are agreed and documented.

  Work with technical teams to confirm that solutions match the agreed scope, timeline, and quality bar.

  Review deliverables against acceptance criteria and flag quality, timeline, or adoption gaps to the technical lead. 

Required 

• 5–8 years of professional experience. 

• At least 3–5 of those years as a project or delivery manager on client engagements. 

• Consulting or professional-services background strongly preferred. In-house project management alone is not the target profile. 

• Proven success running more than one engagement at a time without dropping the fundamentals: estimation, planning, budgeting, RAID, status, and stakeholder alignment. 

• Strong command of delivery fundamentals: estimation, planning, budgeting, resource coordination, and risk management. 

• Experience tracking project financials (budget vs. forecast, margin, utilization) on the accounts you own. 

• Working fluency with common project management tools and frameworks — for example Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, or comparable planning and tracking tools — and comfort with Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery. 

• AI fluent: regular, practical use of AI tools to draft status, summarize meetings, organize project documentation, and prepare stakeholder updates. You remain accountable for accuracy. Specific model or vendor experience is not required. 

• Excellent organization and time management; able to prioritize across competing demands. 

• Clear verbal and written communication, including status and issue communication with client managers and occasional executives. 

• Proactive, self-directed, and effective in a fully remote environment. 

• Authorized to work in the United States. 

• Willing and able to travel up to 15%. 

• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent). Not a gate. 

• Experience delivering work in a data, analytics, or technology professional-services setting. Tool-level analytics skills are not required. 

• Familiarity with professional-services operations (staffing requests, utilization, work-in-progress, and change orders). 

• Not a junior coordinator role and not a senior practice lead. 

• Not a people-manager role. You coordinate contributors on assigned projects; you do not own hiring, coaching, or a reporting team. 

• Not a technical or analytics individual-contributor role. You do not need Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or other analytics tools. 

• Not a quota-carrying sales or account-growth role. 

• Take ownership of an assigned portfolio and run it with clean plans, RAID logs, status, and financial tracking. 

• Keep clients informed so surprises are rare and escalations happen early. 

• Work cleanly with delivery, sales, and technical leads using the firm’s existing tools and templates. 

• Use AI tools as a default part of how you prepare project artifacts, without handing off judgment.
