Slash is a fast-growing YC-backed fintech building industry-specific business banking infrastructure. The company powers over $10 billion in annual business purchasing volume and is building tailored financial infrastructure for modern businesses. Series B fintech founded in 2020/2021 with strong growth momentum and aggressive expansion plans.

About the Role

This is a founding channel partnerships buildout role focused specifically on the accounting firm ecosystem. The hire is expected to bring an existing warm network in accounting firms or financial advisory practices and immediately begin generating onboarded client revenue. This is an IC-first builder seat with a clear leadership path after proving channel success.

  • Build Slash's accounting firm partnership channel from near zero
  • Develop direct relationships with accounting firms, CFO advisory firms, and financial operators
  • Position Slash as the preferred banking and treasury platform for partner clients
  • Drive referral-led client acquisition and onboarded revenue
  • Build relationships with partners, firm leadership, and BD stakeholders
  • Represent Slash at accounting industry conferences and events
  • Collaborate with product teams on accountant-focused financial tooling
  • Prove channel economics as an IC, then build and lead the partnerships team

Requirements

  • Existing accounting industry relationships required — this is non-negotiable
  • Existing book of accounting firm or advisory contacts
  • Partnerships, BD, or sales experience in the accounting ecosystem
  • Demonstrated referral-led revenue ownership
  • Manager-level commercial talent willing to operate as IC initially
  • Strong revenue ownership mentality
  • Comfortable in high-intensity startup environment
  • SF or NYC onsite commitment required

Strong signals include deep named accounting firm relationships, existing partner and firm leadership access, referral-led revenue success with measurable outcomes, built partnerships channels from scratch, accounting conference and ecosystem visibility, CFO services and financial operator ecosystem backgrounds, fintech partnerships experience, and B2B SaaS partnerships adjacent to accounting workflows.
