Local Truck Driver - Class A / 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 2:00PM - 10:30PM)

• →Load and unload truck either individually or with assistance of dockworkers
• →Drive tractor-trailer in all weather conditions
• →Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of freight
• →Securing of freight may be required through strapping or other methods
• →Inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy
• →Comply with all Federal requirements regarding the transportation of Hazardous Materials
• →Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations
• →Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• →Participates in required on-call rotation for after hours and weekend deliveries
• →Other duties as assigned daily

• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement within 60 days of hire
• Successfully pass background check, drug screen, and physical ability test
• Knowledge of local geographical area
• Able to converse with customers and warehouse workers professionally
• Must have and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to use a mobile computer/GPS
• Ability to work an average of 45 hours per week
• Regular and reliable attendance

• Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, grasping, and feeling
• Repetitive sitting
• Capacity to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Occasional
• Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled warehouse
