Senior Project Manager – Agile / Scrum (12-months contract)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Agile/Scrum experience and a solid understanding of Finance and Accounting to manage the delivery of business and technology projects within a logistics environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering projects while working closely with business stakeholders, Finance/Accounting teams, Product Owners, Scrum teams and technical resources.

• →Manage projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• →Manage project delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• →Work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Team to manage the Product Backlog, priorities, dependencies and delivery milestones.
• →Facilitate and participate in key Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
• →Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and delivery roadmaps.
• →Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions and changes.
• →Monitor project progress against agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• →Manage project resources and coordinate activities across business and technical teams.
• →Work with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure successful delivery of financial processes and solutions.
• →Monitor project budgets, expenditure and financial performance.
• →Prepare project status reports and provide regular updates to Steering Committees and senior stakeholders.
• →Identify delivery risks and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
• →Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• →Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation and transition into business operations.
• →Ensure project documentation, governance and reporting requirements are maintained.
• →Drive the resolution of project issues and ensure timely escalation where required.

• Relevant Project Management qualification.
• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager.
• Proven experience delivering projects within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Practical experience working with Scrum Teams and Product Owners.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery principles and Scrum practices.
• Experience delivering projects involving Finance and Accounting processes.
• Good understanding of financial processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting and reconciliations.
• Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
• Experience working across business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience in the logistics, supply chain, transport or distribution industry will be advantageous.
