DOF Canada is currently seeking a Marine Recruitment and Training Coordinator to join our Crewing team. If you are looking for a dynamic environment to learn and grow your career, DOF Canada is a great opportunity!

Responsibilities

  • →Training and Course Coordination;
  • →Coordination of the Competency Baseline and Compliance for Marine Crew;
  • →Maintain all training documentation in crewing system and proactively follow structured process to ensure compliance of crew;
  • →Coordination of general administrative tasks in regards to systems updates and communication;
  • →Plan and coordinate co-ordinate internal courses;
  • →Arrange travel and logistics as required;
  • → Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for marine crew in partnership with Senior Crew Coordinator; Regional Crewing Manager, Operations Managers and Vessel Managers;
  • →Coordinate cadets together with Senior Crew Coordinator;
  • →Represent DOF at school visits, fairs and industry events;
  • →Addition of employee profiles to company crewing system.

Requirements

  • Industry relevant experience / relevant education (or equivalent experience);
  • Experience in compliance and training within offshore industry
  • Strategic thinker but not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get work done;
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and constantly changing organization with strict deadlines;
  • Knowledge of offshore operations would be preferred, but not critical for the position;
  • Exceptional team member and lead by example with a focus on developing others and yourself;
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times;
  • Organization and time management skills are essential;
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Office products.
