The Senior HR Administrator is responsible for supporting and administering a broad range of Human Resources programs and initiatives, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, employee engagement, learning and development, and HR operations. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers, helping ensure the consistent application of HR policies, practices, and employment laws while fostering a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on workplace issues, performance concerns, and company policies.
  • Assist in resolving NHQ employee relations matters through appropriate investigation, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and organizational communications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support organizational change and HR transformation efforts as needed.
  • Support performance review processes and manager training initiatives.
  • Coordinate learning and development activities, including training schedules, program communications, completion tracking, and related documentation.
  • Assist with talent development, succession planning, employee training activities, and learning program administration.
  • Support policy development and implementation efforts.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist or related HR role.
  • Experience coordinating employee learning and development programs, training logistics, or professional development initiatives.
  • Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement.
  • Experience using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience with ADP or other enterprise HR systems.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state operations.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support learning initiatives through effective coordination, communication, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
