Duininck Concrete, headquartered in West Central Minnesota, serves its clients as industry experts, providing guidance and support for projects of any scale.

Responsibilities

  • →Assist plant managers and operators with the day-to-day operation of portable and stationary concrete plants
  • →Assist with batching operations and learn to interpret mix designs and project specifications
  • →Perform and document quality control testing, such as slump, air content, temperature, and cylinder preparation
  • →Help coordinate dispatch, deliveries, and material inventory
  • →Support safety inspections, documentation, and compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • →Assist the sales team with customer communication, quotes, and project follow-up
  • →Help with production and quantity reporting
  • →Perform other duties as required
  • A full-time college/university student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Concrete Industry Management, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
  • Interest in concrete production, materials, and the construction industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach who can adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
  • Effective at multitasking while remaining detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team of professionals
  • Understand and adhere to all safety regulations and Personal Protective Equipment requirements
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I certification is a plus, but not required

Travel and some Saturday work are required
