DXC Technology Italy is looking for a DevOps Engineer Expert to join C&I offering.

Responsibilities

→Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (on-prem or cloud), with end-to-end technical ownership of the platform
→Manage cluster lifecycle: upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
→Implement and maintain cluster components such as ingress controllers, storage integrations, and networking plugins
→Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
→Automate application deployment workflows, environment provisioning, and repetitive operational tasks using Bash or Python
→Use Terraform, Helm, and related IaC tools to define and manage infrastructure
→Deploy and manage monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager), perform root-cause analysis and optimize system performance
→Collaborate with development teams to support containerization and deployment best practices, acting as direct interface with clients and technical teams
→Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior/mid team members, contributing to the definition of technical standards and best practices
→Contribute to the hiring process through technical assessments during interviews

Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
Proficiency with CI/CD tools and pipeline design
Solid understanding of container technologies (Docker, containerd)
Experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows
Good scripting skills in Bash or Python
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
Strong Linux systems engineering background
Experience with Generative AI tools is a plus

Location: Naples (NA) with smart working possibility

What We Offer

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €36.000.
Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
