The Paid Media Partnerships Lead is a senior leader within the Paid Media team, reporting directly to the Head of Paid Media.

This role is integral to the execution of Easygo's regional and global media strategies, owning the full lifecycle of digital media partnerships from identification and assessment through to negotiation, execution, and ongoing management.

This is a commercially minded, strategically led role that sits at the intersection of partnerships, brand, and performance. The Paid Media Partnerships Lead will represent the Paid Media team in integrated, cross-format opportunities that include events, ambassador deals, and sponsorships with media assets. The role requires close collaboration with the Sponsorship team, country managers, and channel leads to ensure all partnership activity is aligned with brand positioning, performance objectives, and market strategy.

We know that innovation ignites when we build and create together, in person. This is a full-time opportunity at our Melbourne office. You’ll work right where it all happens, surrounded by our fearless crew shipping high-impact work.

  • Proactively identify, evaluate and prioritise digital media partnership opportunities across global and regional markets, balancing always-on investment with event and activation-led deals.
  • Develop and maintain a structured opportunity pipeline, assessing each opportunity against clearly defined criteria across brand positioning, awareness, market authority and acquisition objectives.
  • Build and apply a rigorous partner/publisher assessment framework, defining evaluation criteria tailored to different business objectives and ensuring a consistent, data-informed approach to partnership selection.
  • Maintain visibility of global opportunities (relevant to .com) alongside the ability to identify cross-market efficiencies, for example, a single partnership that spans all LatAm markets rather than negotiating each individually.
  • Lead the negotiation of partnership agreements including commercial terms, media commitments, exclusivity arrangements, deliverable guarantees, and renewal conditions.
  • Own the end-to-end contract lifecycle for all digital media partnerships, from initial terms through to execution, performance review, renewal and renegotiation.
  • Drive commercial rigour across the portfolio, ensuring Easygo consistently achieves favourable terms and measurable returns on all partnership investment.
  • Oversee the investment budget in collaboration with regional leads, allocating spend across the portfolio in line with strategic priorities and performance outcomes.
  • Own and develop Easygo's direct publisher relationships, building a preferred partner network of premium media owners across key markets and categories.
  • Lead the negotiation and management of direct inventory deals, including tenancy packages, sponsorship integrations, content partnerships and bespoke placement arrangements.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Programmatic Lead to identify where SSP relationships and Private Marketplace (PMP) deals can complement or replace direct arrangements - bringing a commercial and strategic lens to inventory decisions while the Programmatic Lead owns technical execution.
  • Collaborate with the Programmatic Lead on the development of PMPs for both always-on activity and short-term event-led activations (e.g. World Cup, major sporting events) - owning the commercial negotiation and deal structure while the Programmatic Lead governs technical setup and delivery.
  • Represent the Paid Media team in integrated, cross-format partnership opportunities including events, ambassador deals, sponsorships with media assets and multi-channel activations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sponsorship team and relevant country managers to align paid media partnership strategy with broader sponsorship, brand and market initiatives.
  • Ensure paid media assets within integrated deals are clearly scoped, executed to brief, and measured against both brand and performance objectives - preventing value leakage in complex, multi-stakeholder arrangements.
  • Develop and maintain a global view of the partnership landscape, identifying where deals at .com level or spanning multiple regulated markets can deliver efficiencies and scale.
  • Work with country managers and regional teams to understand local market needs, regulatory constraints, and audience nuances - ensuring partnerships are fit-for-purpose across every market they operate in.
  • Balance global ambition with local relevance, ensuring partnership strategy serves both brand-building at scale and acquisition in specific regulated markets.
  • Lead and grow a team responsible for the day-to-day management of digital media partnerships, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback and actively supporting career development.
  • Build a high-performing, commercially minded team capable of managing a complex, multi-market partnership portfolio across brand and performance objectives.
  • Contribute to hiring decisions as the team scales, and develop a team structure that reflects the breadth and ambition of the partnerships function.
  • Serve as the Paid Media team's primary executor of Easygo's brand positioning strategy through paid partnerships, ensuring all partner environments, placements, and integrations reflect brand standards and reinforce strategic positioning.
  • Collaborate with channel leads across Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic to ensure a cohesive, non-duplicative messaging strategy across all paid touchpoints.
  • Contribute to integrated planning cycles - providing partnership forecasts, inventory insights, and activation plans to inform broader media and marketing strategy.
  • Define and govern KPI frameworks for partnership activity across brand, awareness, and performance dimensions, ensuring measurement infrastructure is agreed and in place before deals go live.
  • Oversee partnership performance reporting, delivering clear insights and recommendations to the Head of Paid Media and relevant stakeholders on a regular cadence.
  • Apply performance learnings to continuously refine the partner assessment framework and guide future investment decisions.
  • Ensure all partnerships, placements and integrations meet the relevant brands' safety standards and the regulatory requirements of every market in which they operate.
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to review partnership agreements, ensuring all activity is permissible, appropriately disclosed and aligned with market-specific advertising regulations.
  • Factor regulatory constraints into partnership scoping and deal design from the outset - not as a post-deal check, but as a core part of how opportunities are evaluated and structured.
  • 6+ years of experience in digital media, with a strong track record in media partnerships, publisher development, or direct media sales/buying.
  • Proven ability to identify, negotiate, and manage complex digital media partnerships, ideally in a multi-market or global context.
  • Strong commercial acumen, experienced in contract negotiation, deal structuring, and budget management.
  • Solid understanding of the digital media landscape, including direct publisher deals, inventory types, SSPs, PMPs, and how programmatic and direct channels complement each other.
  • Experience working across integrated, cross-format opportunities including sponsorships, events, and ambassador deals with media assets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build commercial assessment frameworks and evaluate partnership value across brand and performance dimensions.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Experience in wagering/igaming preferred.
