Position Overview: The Producer Compensation Analyst is responsible for the accurate processing, validation, and support of producer and broker compensation for an assigned region. This role combines monthly workflow execution with inquiry resolution, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate is strong in Excel, comfortable working with large, complex datasets, able to research issues across multiple systems, and grounded in accounting fundamentals. This is a low volume, high-complexity role requiring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.

- →2–4 years of experience in accounting, compensation, financial operations, or a similar role
- →Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- →Hands-on experience with agency management or invoicing systems.
- →Advanced Excel proficiency including lookup functions, conditional aggregation, nested formulas and exposure to Power Query.
- →Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals sufficient to prepare and book journal entries accurately.
- →Ability to independently synthesize data from multiple sources, apply sound judgement, and present findings in a clear narrative for management.
- →Comfort working with messy, large, and imperfect datasets across multiple systems.
- →Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- →Experience working for insurance an insurance brokerage, wholesaler, or MGA.
- →Hands-on AMS experience--Sagitta, AMS 360, Applied Epic, Benefit Point, or equivalent.
- →Basic SQL querying capability for pulling and validating data.
- →VBA familiarity.
- →Hands on Power Query experience.
- →Experience supporting payroll, accounts payable, or producer compensation processes.

~1 min readThe national average salary for this role is $70 000.00 - $85 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, while also considering internal equity and market data..
