Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Site Supervision Team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate should have 12–15 years of experience, with strong post-contract consultancy experience and good knowledge of FIDIC contracts. The role will involve managing commercial and contractual activities, cost control, payments, variations, claims, and final accounts throughout the project. Key Responsibilities Review and certify contractors’ interim payment applications. Prepare, negotiate, and finalise final accounts. Review and assess variations, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) requests. Manage Provisional Sums and Prime Cost (PC) items. Monitor project costs and prepare regular commercial reports. Administer contracts in line with FIDIC Conditions of Contract. Maintain proper records of contracts, commercial documents, and correspondence. Prepare rate analysis and obtain supplier quotations. Monitor material and market prices. Attend commercial and contractual meetings and maintain meeting records. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve commercial and contractual matters. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 12–15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying. Strong post-contract consultancy experience. Excellent knowledge of FIDIC, contract administration, and commercial management. Experience in payment certification, cost control, variations, claims, tendering, and final accounts. Good knowledge of UAE construction practices and contractual requirements. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Good communication and organizational skills. Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days will be preferred.
