- Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in pharmaceutical plant maintenance, calibration, and GMP documentation.
- Proficiency with PLC (Programmed Logic Controller) troubleshooting, programming, and wiring.
- Previous industrial plant safety training and experience utilizing a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Willingness to obtain an EPA refrigerant certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
As a Maintenance Technician (Night Shift), you will be part of the Elwood facility team to deliver essential maintenance and operational support within a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for advancing facility reliability, equipment uptime, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. All work must be completed to the highest standards with a focus on safety, quality, and good documentation practices.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain and operate critical facility systems including boilers, AHUs, purified water systems, air compressors, and wastewater treatment.
- →Provide production support by maintaining and repairing tanks, mixers, pumps, sterilizers, filling equipment, and solids processing equipment.
- →Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks as instructed by the maintenance management system to ensure equipment longevity and compliance.
- →Execute all duties following SOPs, Quality Assurance guidelines, and safety programs including lockout/tagout, confined space, and fall protection.
- →Operate forklifts and personnel lifts while assisting in the construction and validation of the cGMP manufacturing facility.
The position requires the employee to come to the site in Elwood, KS.
This will be a 2-2-3 work schedule.
This is a night shift, 12 hours, 5pm to 5:15am.
Employees will be required to lift heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
Employees will be required to climb ladders and work on the rooftop of the building
