- EMC/Dell storage administration experience within the past five years.
- IBM Mainframe systems programming and administration experience within the past five years.
- Strong experience with DT storage.
- DLM experience is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Performs daily mainframe storage operations using z/OS tools to optimize SMS/DASD utilization, verify HSM/DLM health and space, audit volumes/datasets across both plexes, and submit CRs/incidents as needed to maintain reliability.
- Produces required compliance/capacity reporting (SCRT/SMF), verifies reclaim/housekeeping automation, and completes operational work such as disk initialization, tape consolidations, and maintenance of core storage software (DLM, Solutions Enabler, GDDR, TapeCopy, Unisphere).
- Executes DR activation/teardown activities, coordinates Dell hardware patching/upgrades, and monitors PowerMax/DLM/Data Domain health and certificates at both Eagan and San Mateo.
