Test Engineer

As a member of the Test Department, you will be part of the manufacturing group that tests our products.

• →Design and develop Automated Test setups for validating the latest film, television, and telecommunications equipment, including router, fiber transmission, multi-viewer and SDVN technologies
• →Develop and Modify code in LabVIEW and Python languages to automate the testing process
• →Conduct or oversee the installation and operation of electronic equipment and systems designed to automate the testing of the products
• →Provide training to team members within or external of the test department
• →Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes of the electronic or electrical problems
• →Review the malfunction of the returned devices, troubleshoot, and do basic repair for the final shipment
• →Compliance with all Evertz Policies and Procedures
• →Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to you from time to time, as determined by the Company

• Degree or Diploma in electronic or computer engineering, networking
• Experience in a related field is an asset
• Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++ preferred)
• Knowledge of one or more of the following scripting languages: Labview, Python
• Network router/switch experience desirable
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
• Works well with others in a team environment
