About the job:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Administrator to manage and maintain EveryMatrix’s network infrastructure alongside our current team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent skills on enterprise level network. The Network Administrator role is to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our networks, both on-premises and cloud-based.
What You'll get to do:
Responsible for managing and maintaining Everymatrix’s enterprise network and the design of the network infrastructure.
Acquire, install and upgrade IT components, licensing and software, and manages inventory: switches, routers, firewalls, access points;
Configure VPN solutions: site-to-site, remote access, IPSEC and SSL;
Network Maintenance: make sure all equipment is monitored, alerts are being sent, documentation is up to date;
Implement new network security and monitoring solutions;
Support internal teams to handle network problems;
Troubleshoot network related problems in a timely manner;
Effectively communicate with the team members, peers and management;
Manage operational tasks and assure they are done within agreed SLAs;
Adhere to business standards and processes;
Plans service availability according to business requirements (this may include defining redundancy, backup implementation, having on-call duty;
Troubleshoot network team incidents and participate in elaborating a clear root cause analysis and complete mitigation plan;
Contribute to mid and long term infrastructure strategy;
Coordinate with all parties(clients, peers, vendors etc.) to ensure seamless operations and projects delivery;
Responsible for network devices lifecycle management and patch management;
Ensure accurate monitoring of network devices;
Ensures knowledge transfer and training for team engineers Other requirements raised by management.
Bachelor's degree in technical field(engineering, mathematics, IT);
Minimum of 5 years of technical background with various network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls);
Excellent knowledge of routing, switching and network protocols (DHCP, ARP, dot1q, OSPF, BGP);
Extensive experience on configuring and managing VPN solutions(site-to-site, Remote access, IPSEC, SSL);
Previous experience on managing firewall devices;
Knowledge of Linux OS and microservices;
Experience with software defined networking is a plus;
Nice to have:
Networking certifications or hands-on experience with CCNA/ CCNP/Cisco ACI;
Understanding of ITIL processes (certification is a plus);
Availability for on-call work schedule;
Fluency in English, both written & spoken;
Excellent communication skills; Strong analytical and research skills;
Problem-solving skills;
Ability to accept and adjust to changes – Agile;
Detail oriented;
Passionate about technology.
