This position works in a surgical services environment where exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and other potential occupational hazards may occur. The RN Supervisor must understand and apply appropriate infection prevention, exposure control, and patient safety practices.

The role requires the knowledge and skills to support age-appropriate care across the lifespan, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
