Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.

A career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference and invest in your growth in a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment. If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who develop high-level products and contribute to the growth of the organization, we are looking to add a Senior Test Engineer, located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, this position will be responsible for leading test engineering activities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, analyzing test process and equipment performance, and providing technical leadership to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and capability of test systems within a manufacturing environment.

  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities related to test failures, yield excursions, and equipment performance issues.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize test strategies, methodologies, and processes for electronic products.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to test engineers and technicians.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring successful implementation of robust and scalable test solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and executive presentations to communicate results, findings, and action plans to stakeholders and global internal customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal Flex customers to resolve technical challenges and standardize best practices.
  • Maintain and support functional test systems, AOI, AXI (X-Ray), ICT, and other manufacturing test platforms.
  • Analyze test and manufacturing performance data to identify optimization opportunities and process improvements.
  • Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for test equipment and stations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
