As a Business Development Manager at Flipster

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Operations Manager to lead in the Chinese-speaking cryptocurrency market. This remote position is ideal for a visionary professional fluent in both English and Mandarin, with a deep understanding of the crypto and blockchain industry, particularly in derivatives trading. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in crypto exchange operations, a keen insight into local regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Responsibilities include developing key partnerships, engaging with influencers, analyzing market trends and regulations, and collaborating across functions to drive growth and innovation. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, leveraging your expertise to influence the crypto landscape in Chinese-speaking region.

Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with token projects and other strategic stakeholders in the Chinese-speaking cryptocurrency ecosystem. You will be instrumental in creating synergistic relationships that enhance our offerings and expand our market presence.

Influencer Engagement: Cultivate relationships with Chinese-speaking key opinion leaders, influencers, and thought leaders within the crypto and blockchain communities. Your goal will be to build a network of advocates that can amplify our brand and drive adoption of our platform.

Market Intelligence and Regulation Insight: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and local crypto regulations in Chinese-speaking region. Use this insight to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing, product, and compliance teams to ensure aligned and cohesive strategies that support our business objectives and comply with Chinese-speaking regulations.

Brand Ambassador: Represent our exchange at industry events, conferences, and in various media within Chinese-speaking. Your ability to articulate our value proposition and vision, in both English and Mandarin, will be critical in establishing us as a leader in space.

Possesses a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, particularly in the context of derivatives trading, with a focus on the Chinese-speaking market.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Demonstrates a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships and engaging with influencers or key opinion leaders, preferably within the cryptocurrency sector.

Has previous experience working with crypto exchanges, with a strong understanding of local crypto regulations in Chinese-speaking region.

Is adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving industry landscape.

Shows a strong strategic and analytical mindset, capable of understanding complex products and market dynamics.

Is comfortable working in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
