Mechanical Engineer

• →Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during product development
• →Conducts minor projects and plans method of approach
• →Reviews project progress and evaluates results
• →Recommends corrections in technical applications.  Specifies materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of technical projects
• →Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services
• →Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
• →Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
• →Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• →Has internal and some external contacts.  Normally receives general instructions on routing work, detail instructions on new projects or assignments

• →None

• BS or MS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering
• 2-4 years in a mechanical design role

• SolidWorks 3D CAD experience or equivalent,
• Familiarity with production methods
• Basic finite element analysis
• Ability to work independently

• IFS Overview
• Quality Systems
