Driver

Responsibilities:  Vehicle Operation and Safety: Safely operate heavy vehicles for 10-11 hours a day, following DOT, state, and federal laws and regulations. Inspections: Perform comprehensive pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of tires, lights, brakes, and fuel. Cargo Management: Load, unload, and securely fasten cargo using straps, chains, or binders to prevent shifting. CHECK AS NEEDED. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records, hours of service, bills of lading, and fuel receipts. Communication: Maintain regular contact with your supervisor to provide status updates, route changes, delays, or cargo issues. Maintenance: Perform minor repairs, report major mechanical issues, and keep the tractor/ trailer clean. RETURN WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL! Any other duties as assigned.
