Uphold and coach employees on Flynn’s health and safety policies/procedures
Perform site inspections
Injury management (e.g. WCB & Return to work program)
Conduct new hire orientations
Incident investigations
Complete internal and external COR audits
Attend pre-starts, hand-offs and other safety-related meetings
Assist with the completion of site safety documents

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a safety role within a construction environment
Formal education and/or training in Environmental/Occupational Health and Safety, NCSO or equivalent experience
Experience with WCB, Return to Work programs and injury management
Good knowledge of Fall Protection systems and legislation
Knowledge and practical experience in incident investigation
Experience working in the ICI construction industry, specifically dealing with Building envelope is considered an asset
Knowledge of the COR process is considered an asset
Bilingualism is considered an asset
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Computer literate in Windows applications; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Team attitude with a willingness to learn
Valid driver’s license required
