  • Maintain the Automatic Entrance Doors and Battery Powered Wheelchair carts throughout his/her assigned stores and facilities.
  • Inspect new door installations/workmanship on new stores, buildings, etc.
  • Conduct regular, periodic checks and perform preventative maintenance on Automatic Entrance Doors and Battery Powered Wheelchair carts so that they remain operational for Security and Safety.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain all aspects of Automatic Entrance Doors and Battery Powered Wheelchair carts throughout the facilities.
  • Conceive and help develop procedures and strategies that can be adopted companywide for improved performance, reduced downtime, and cost reductions.
  • Maintain all records necessary for government and company purposes.
  • Travel to and visit retail locations and KVAT Food Stores, Inc. offices, as needed to provide repairs, new installs, and general maintenance.
  • Responsible for attending on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties through regular attendance.
  • Ensure all aspects of company policy and procedures regarding good business and department practices are followed.
  • Work on a 24-hour on-call basis as needed. The goal is to develop a preventative maintenance program that prevents after hour calls.
  • Assist in-house technicians with diagnostic development.
  • Refurbish Battery operated Wheelchair Carts as directed.
  • Understand and follow confidentiality policy regarding company information as well as personnel information.
  • Other tasks assigned for completion as assigned by Direct Supervisor or Executive Company Official.
  • Utilize time management skills and prioritization to accomplish tasks through management team and associates.
  • Verification, completion, and distribution of vital department reports, management reports, documents, and paperwork via written, verbal, or e-mail to the appropriate individuals as deemed by supervision and/or policy.
  • Complete documentation of activities as required.
  • Follow all safety and security measures and guidelines.

  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
  • Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties through regular attendance.
