Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
At least 2 years professional software development experience, with high technical proficiency in the following languages – Perl, Linux Shell Scripting, .Net, C/C++
At least 2 years solid commercial experience in Linux development
Must be able to navigate on a Linux Server and have solid extensive knowledge and experience in all the Linux utilities
Linux OS Installation, update/patch management preferred but not required
RPM Repository Maintenance (SVN)
System Monitoring
Log/Data file analysis
Security auditing
Intrusion Prevention (planning and implementation)
General systems admin of Linux systems (software update management, config management, shell scripting, scheduling, backup management)
Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience
Assist development team in troubleshooting tasks
