Responsibilities

  • →Cash Processing: Researching and applying payments, creating journal entries, allocating funds, and recording agency-related receipts.
  • →Bank and Lockbox Management: Managing ACH, wire, check, and lockbox transactions, resolving exceptions, processing returned payments, and coordinating with banking partners.
  • →Accounting Support: Preparing cash receipt and intercompany journal entries, including transfers when payments are received by the incorrect legal entity.
  • →Disbursements: Processing refunds and payments related to funds received in error.
  • →Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining processing statistics, supporting monthly reporting, and updating procedures and process documentation.
  • →Team Support: Providing critical support to Agency Bill and Direct Bill operations. 
  • →Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates multi-tasking, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred experience with all Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially Excel.
