Responsibilities

→Responsible for the overall planning, development, direction, and administration of the strategic Claims programs.
→Accountable for providing specialized insights with business leaders to implement strategies that support business goals and drive organizational performance.
→Oversees the strategic oversight of claims investigations to confirm coverage and determine liability, compensability, and damages.
→Offers expert advice to team members on complex claim file management and extends settlement authority following comprehensive reviews.
→Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Generally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling with a strong preference for casualty claims experience.
Must have a minimum of 8 years leadership experience.
Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Associate in Claims (AIC) or the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
