Associate, Finance Operation (GEGM Finance)

• Responsible for maintaining and handling of day-to-day accounts and all accounting matters
• Ensure proper and accurate month-end closing within the deadline
• Preparation of monthly account reconciliations and ensure prompt clearance of outstanding items
• To carry out investigation on the variances between general ledger and subsidiary ledgers and liaise with respective business users for resolutions
• Involvement in updating Standard Operating Procedures within Finance
• Involvement in process improvement and transformation within Finance
• Any other function relevant to the job grade which may be assigned from time to time
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• To assist in Third Party Outsourcing Review, evaluation of services provided and risk assessment.
• Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• At least 1- 2year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
