Engineering Co-op Placement - 8-12 Month Duration

→Undergo training to learn the fundamentals of the Turbines and Generator product lines as well as completing the required environment, health and safety training that is Pre-requisite to visiting sites
→Develop skill in the use of Field Core web-based applications
→Learn basic technical skill and perform site work with direct instruction and supervision
→Learn the fundamentals of project management, scheduling, resource loading, and cost control to support the Field Team during major overhauls
→Assist the SM and Field Engineers to plan jobs, expedite shop repair activities and facilitate parts orders critical to outages
→Assist the Service Manager in the research projects, simplification projects
→Provide remote and on-site support and communications to the FieldCore team
→General Tech/Admin assistance to the Ops team
→Receiving customer calls
→Expediting short-notice purchasing and shipping for overhaul jobs
→Organizing activities and logistics
→Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
→Travel may be required
→May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
