As our business continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects and designers. This is an opportunity to influence complex multidisciplinary projects, work alongside industry-leading specialists, and help create smarter, more sustainable buildings. Based in Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra or Wollongong, you’ll bring specialist experience in HVAC to join our Design and Building Engineering group for NSW/ACT.
This position presents an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully to local building projects within our region, while collaborating as a member of an established global technical team at a leading international consultancy.
The role offers significant potential for professional development, including mentoring junior staff and benefiting from guidance provided by our Technical Directors.
- A relevant university degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Between 7 and 15 years of experience and proven expertise in HVAC Systems from within a consulting environment.
- Familiarity with NCC, and proven experience working with Australian Standards
- Competent with Revit, Bluebeam, heat load software (Camel, HAP, etc).
- Demonstrable project experience on variety of commercial project types, from new-builds to refurbishment, in variety of sectors (i.e. office, health, education, public buildings, etc), climates and HVAC system types.
- Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- A passion for delivering high-quality, bespoke solutions and mentoring others.
