Girls on the Run Michiana: Program Manager

Organizational Summary:
Girls on the Run Michiana offers an 8-week, twice-weekly after-school program from mid-March through mid-May that utilizes games, activities, and small group conversations to provide girls with the confidence to believe in themselves, practice resilience, and use their voices to stand up for themselves and others. Girls on the Run Michiana is an independent 501(c)(3) organization, one of over 160 independent Girls on the Run councils across the U.S. and Canada.  Our territory includes St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, Fulton, and Kosciusko counties in northcentral Indiana. We serve over 1,000 girls at over 65 schools each spring. 

Position Summary:
The Girls on the Run Michiana Program Manager – St. Joseph/Marshall/Fulton Counties is a part-time, flexible, 80% remote position averaging 23-24 hours/week from mid-August through mid-June. The work fluctuates by season with an estimated average of 20 hrs/week from mid-August through late December and an estimated average of 25 hours/week from January through mid-June. The Program Manager may choose to work some of these hours during summer months if so desired. This is a non-exempt position that reports to the Executive Director. The Program Manager works most closely with the Executive Director and the Program Manager for Elkhart County, as well as with team members who support marketing and fundraising.
