Requirements
~1 min read- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Understanding and familiarity with Development Engineering, Project Engineering, and Configuration Management Processes
- Front-facing customer service experience• Strong ability to communicate technical content and coordinate across multiple engineering and operations functions
- Experience in Development Engineering and Project Engineering
- Familiarity with sustaining‑engineering workflows for military platforms and 2D drawings
- Experience with Teamcenter or equivalent PLM systems

The Aerostructures Military Portfolio Program Technical Office is seeking a candidate for a Project Engineer position, focused on configuration management, engineering definition, sustaining support, and cross‑functional technical coordination across multiple military and special‑mission platforms.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage configuration and change activity for assigned platforms, including KC‑390, F‑15/Gridlock, and Pods Programs.
- →Prepare for and follow up on CCB (Configuration Control Board) items and coordinate associated engineering actions
- →Review engineering changes for applicability, implementation readiness, and downstream impact
- →Coordinate technical questions and data requests with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Aftermarket, Data Management, and external partners (Raytheon, Embraer, Boeing Defense, IAE, etc)
- →Research legacy engineering and configuration records to resolve open issues and support correct engineering definition
- →Support engineering drawing and package release activities, ensuring proper configuration control and documentation
- →Support BOE, NRE estimates, ROMs, and proposal‑development activities for sustaining and new customer requests
- →Perform applicability and read‑across reviews across legacy military platforms and related product families
- →Coordinate engineering technical communication with multiple customer to ensure alignment on requirements
